Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling
• Prepare, update, and maintain project schedules using MS Project.
• Develop detailed WBS, timelines, resource plans, and milestone charts.
• Monitor project progress and identify schedule slippages or critical delays.
• Coordinate with production, design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure timelines are met.
Production Planning & Control
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on order priorities.
• Track progress of manufacturing activities including fabrication, machining, assembly, testing, and dispatch.
• Ensure material availability by coordinating with procurement and stores.
Resource Management
• Review manpower, machine capacity, and resource allocation requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks in processes and propose corrective action.
• Coordination & Communication
• Conduct biweekly review meetings with internal teams to track project/production status.
• Prepare project progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and clients.
• Follow up with vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure timely execution.
Documentation & Compliance
• Maintains planning documents, schedules, and reports as per project requirements.
• Ensure planning activities comply with industry standards and company procedures.
Risk Analysis & Mitigation
• Identify potential risks such as material delays, design changes, or resource constraints.
• Provide proactive solutions to recover delays and maintain project deadlines.
• Independent Working
• Handle planning activities independently with minimum supervision.
• Take full ownership of schedule preparation, monitoring, and execution tracking.

Key Requirements:
• ISO Audit experience (good to have)
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / production engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in planning within the equipment manufacturing or fabrication industry.
• Strong hands-on expertise in MS Project (mandatory).
• Good knowledge of production processes: fabrication, machining, assembly, testing, dispatch.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical drawings and BOM.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
